GET INVOLVED

Achieve Cares is a charitable foundation that wants to help those children by giving them the opportunities they deserve. Developing countries need better education, and Achieve Cares is here to help. This non-profit organization works tirelessly to help schools in developing countries with supplies, textbooks, and even teachers that will improve the quality of their education. This guarantees that 98% of children under Achieve Cares‘ umbrella go on to complete their high school education.
How Many Orphan Children Do You Think There Are?
There are an estimated 140 million children worldwide who have been orphaned or abandoned by one definition or another. These children face many challenges, yet some fall through the cracks of even these staggering statistics! Who counts those who live on the streets, in landfills, and in sewer systems? How could you?
Where Do Orphan Children Come From?
There are many reasons why children become orphans. The most common causes of orphanhood are war, disease, poverty, natural disasters, and abandonment. Other reasons include cultural pressures, neglect, abuse, child slavery, and religious inequity. Although these subgroups aren’t technically orphans, they face the same outcomes as children who have lost their parents. Perhaps in some ways, their status makes them invisible, and the danger they are in is misunderstood by many who don’t understand their culture.
What Do You Think Happens To The Average Orphan Child?
There are many forms of suffering that children in orphanages experience. They may be child sex slaves, child soldiers, child laborers the list goes on. It’s up to good people to provide these orphaned children with a loving home where they can thrive physically and emotionally.
Why Help Orphans?
The Founders of Achieve Cares are 4th generation South Indians from Malaysia. They were born and raised in a 400 square foot home with very little money, food, and opportunity. Through hard work and innovation, they emigrated to the United States and began to build a life from scratch, eventually becoming successful Commercial Real Estate operators. Now, with children of their own and a burning desire to help orphans around the world, Achieve Cares is dedicated to improving the chances of success for others in need of support.
